French Air Force ARMEE DE LAIR RECRUTEMENT

2008-01-07: Education and training : Training is at the heart of Air Force life and is embedded in the strategic thinking long-term commitment to the future strength of the French Air Force. Furthermore, the Air Force regularly organize and takes part in training exercises to improve its operational capability. The French Air Force has inherited its spirit of action from the earliest aviation pioneers. At home and overseas, the Air Force maintains a permanent presence, protecting both French interests and citizens. When needed, the reservists can reinforce the permanent Air Force structures, bases and services, giving the French Air Force a ?surge capacity ? when participation in crisis resolution is needed, Equipment. The Air Force missions require a wide-ranging fleet: from fighters through to transport aircrafts, passenger transports and helicopters. It would be impossible for the French Air Force to use its air assets without support from its ground equipment and infrastructures. The French Air Force uses its expertise for out-of-area operations, deploying air bases, similar to the ones in France, to operational theatres. The French Air Force contributed in numerous areas (creation of a joint support base, protection of the Bunia site, installation of the command and control structure for air operations, deployment of strategic transport air assets...). Since the 11th of September 2001, the French air force has reorganized and reinforced the air surveillance and early warning network under the responsibility of the Air Defence and Air Operations Command (CDAOA) and it has integrated it into multinational action. The Air Force restructuring will be achieved through the reduction of the fleet size and the number of air bases. The future of the French Air Force will be further safeguarded through the development of new systems. : Specialiste syst?es de detection et traitement de l'information : Pilote de chasse : Moniteur de simulateur de vol : Specialiste syst?es de detection et traitement de l'information : Specialiste systemes et supports de telecommunication.
